ABOUT

I am a registered blind solicitor from London and I started Disability Platform with the aim of providing a resource so that disabled people do not have to face the challenges I did. 

There are many obstacles and barriers faced by disabled people and many of them stem from misconceptions and misunderstanding of disability. I believe an attitudinal and cultural change is the only true way to achieve equality and equity. 

My main area of interest is employment and through my podcast I intend to investigate the realities of workplace barries, reasonable adjustments and employer attitudes to disability. 

Hopefully this platform can become a useful resource for all.
